NFC North Battle 2005 or called "NNB05" was a third person combat football game based on the National Football Leagues, NFC North Division. It was published by Electronic Arts, and developed by EA Tiburon. It was the 6th installment for the series. It was the first game to be released on the ROBLOX online gaming site and the first 3D version of the game. It was released on August 11, 2005

Significant ChangesEdit

One of the most noticeable features to NFC North Battle 2005 was the introduction to 3D graphics. This allowed the player to roam in a full 3D environment with a 360 rotatable camera. Other features include the first player leaderboard, which collects scores of the individual players instead of team names shuffling on a list along the side of the screen.

For the first time, the game reintroduced team rosters. Because the server could only fit 12 gamers, the rosters were cut down from 7 players per team down to 3. Because of the switch fans said it made the game more arcade style than ever. But the only feature in previous installments that have been removed were the high scores list that shown individual gamers total of KO's, but information leaked out from EA Titletown about possibly returning the High Scores List in a modern form for NNB11 or NNB12.
